This is a ZAR denominated multi-asset flexible fund, investing in foreign markets, that offers the opportunity for offshore diversification. The underlying portfolio objective is to achieve significant capital appreciation over the medium to long term. It is currently an exclusive “feeder” into the Global Investors Edge IC Fund that we formed during November 2020 to significantly enhance our Offshore Allocation strategy. The underlying portfolio manager has complete flexibility and is permitted to invest in offshore listed Equity and Income assets as legislation permits. Therefore, this is known as an “asset swap” fund, which gives you global exposure through rand denominated holdings.
